ロボットのような、キャラクターのどーもくんのようなコンクリートのボックスの中に、ガスメーターが入っている。
There are gas meters in the concrete box, which, to me, looks like a Domo-kun doll.
The terraced house was designed by the office of Kunio Mayekawa, one of the leading Japanese post-war architects who studied in Europe in his youth. I suppose this meter box is designed by Mayekawa office, too.
