This video has no audio. At the time of the recording, someone was announcing/reading out something over the community wireless system but it was hard to make out . (I wonder if it could be of use in emergency.)

One year ago, the quake shook large part of Japan. Within an hour, the tsunami hit the north-east coastline.

Exactly three months ago, on 11 March 2011, 02:46 pm, Japan was shaken. Tens of thousands of human lives were lost. A lot of cities and towns affected.

To make the matters worse, the nuclear reactors got f**ked. Now we are living in Tokyo under some unusual radiation tho it's not felt. (Look at my twitter friend's docimeter. I personally am not afraid, as that's always cancer that have killed my family members - grandfathers, uncles, an aunt, father - and I think I'm doomed anyway.)

Tokyo and Kanto area is having a bit of power crisis after many of the power plants (nuclear, water, and thermal) went off as a result of the huge earthquake on Friday 11 March.

The power-saving initiative is in full swing. More than half of the shop sign lights in my neighbourhood are off. Even this 7-11.

I'm sure they'll be gone in an hour, though. People are eager to buy food, afraid of another big quake. (It may be a really serious one for Tokyo!)
