a tokyo photolog (my flickr archive, and occasional rant and rave: I have a free flickr acount, and want to keep the pics I have uploaded.)
On the morning of 22 September 2011, hours after the huge Typhoon No 15 (Roke) hit Tokyo.

This is the bottom of a slope where it looks like a lot of leaves and branches had been floated onto. If this were at night, this could be pretty dangerous. You can't see what is at your foot.

The wind was strong, but not strong enough to devastate this scaffolding.

I was going to document the deaths of umbrellas in my neighbourhood, which I gave up after the first few pictures. Too many. :/

Sunflowers in a residential neighbourhood. Some of them have their "head" blown off.
Why save energy? Because all those nuke powerplants are out of business for Tokyo and Kanto area!
Exactly three months ago, on 11 March 2011, 02:46 pm, Japan was shaken. Tens of thousands of human lives were lost. A lot of cities and towns affected.
To make the matters worse, the nuclear reactors got f**ked. Now we are living in Tokyo under some unusual radiation tho it's not felt. (Look at my twitter friend's docimeter. I personally am not afraid, as that's always cancer that have killed my family members - grandfathers, uncles, an aunt, father - and I think I'm doomed anyway.)
A cloudy morning after heavy rain.
