It's high up on the tree... like 2 meters high. I reached up and press the shutter button without looking into the finder/monitor. Many of this "experimental shots" turned out very bad, and this is one of few "watchable" shots.

ぼけ (in kanji 木瓜; in English, Japanese quince). Read "bo-keh". It has no connections with another word ぼけ (bokeh) used in photography. The fruit looks like 瓜 (u-ri) so the tree was called 木瓜 (boku kuwa). It lated changed into "mok-ke", then "bo-ke".

Too windy to take pictures, and this one is a bit blurred. View large if you like.
